The Renewal Programme’s Supported Housing provides accomodation and support for young people and adults.
We’re incredibly proud of this work which results in supporting and helping some of the most vulnerable people in our community, giving them an opportunity to get their life back on track and establish a new, more positive direction.
Clients stay for up to 2 years and towards the end of their stay with us, we provide advice and support to help them find suitable homes.
We operate our service from Canning Town and Forest Gate and can support 42 clients at a time.
Our service focuses on
- being healthy
- staying safe
- enjoyment and achievement
- making a positive contribution
- achieving economic well-being
Clients have a nominated support worker who helps them to decide on the direction they want their life to take and to overcome any barriers to achieving their aims and objectives. Clients are supported to address their needs and acquire the skills to live independently, getting them ready to move-on. The project staff and volunteers will encourage and support clients to engage in meaningful occupation and in particular, education, training and work.
This service works with some of the most vulnerable people in our community and gives them an opportunity to get their life back on track and establish a new direction.
