50 Years, 50 Faces: Shpresa

Shpresa started her volunteering journey with our Refugee and Migrant Project in 2017. She was shy when she started her role but after volunteering for some time, she made good friends amongst her team and is now the powerhouse of the team! A woman on a mission, she has incredible strength and endurance as a food handler within our Food Bank.   

Shpresa has always been extremely reliable and hardworking. She goes the extra mile in ensuring that she completes her tasks during the food bank activities and she has also been supporting the project with other activities, such as sorting out/wrapping toys during Christmas time, and keeping our food bank storage space spotless.  

Words are not enough to describe how much Shpresa is appreciated for her role in supporting thousands of individuals in need of Food Bank support.  

She is an invaluable asset to our organisation and we are incredibly grateful to have her here at the Renewal Programme.
