    We are Newham Community Renewal Programme, a registered charity. We work with the community in Newham and beyond to transform and inspire lives. We empower people to change their lives through advocacy, education, temporary accommodation and a wide range of positive activities.

    What we do

    Our services are taken up by over 5,000 people a year in Newham who are facing challenges in their life because they might be a carer, a migrant or refugee, homeless, or unable to communicate because English isn't a language they know.

    Barking Road Hostel

    Our Barking Road Hostel provides accommodation for 31 homeless people with alcohol and substance misuse issues and housing management.

  • Children of refugee & migrant families who rely on The Refugee & Migrant Project

    Who is eligible for the Refugee and Migrant services?

    Due to lack of funding, it has become necessary for our Refugee and Migrant Project (RAMP) to focus on service users with the greatest need. We are only able to support individuals and families who are destitute.

  • Our Food Bank

    Every Tuesday our food bank is open at our base in Manor Park. We provide a parcel of dry food such as pasta, rice, tinned tomatoes and beans, tinned fish, tea and biscuits.

  • Room & Hall Hire

    We have a great range of rooms and halls for hire by community groups, churches and businesses or for social events on either a regular or occasional basis.
