Part time: 18 hours per week
Rate of pay: £31,599 p/a pro rata (£16.88 per hour)
Location: Site based in Newham Borough, with regular travel to other venues in Newham
The Renewal Programme is seeking a Community Energy Support Coordinator. As part of our mission to empower individuals and build vibrant communities, this role will lead the delivery of the “Community Charged Energy Support Project,” funded by the London Borough of Newham. Working in collaboration with consortium partners, you will oversee a community-led Energy Champions program, providing energy-saving advice, assistance with energy bills, and access to support services for vulnerable fuel-poor households in Newham. By engaging with residents, volunteers, and stakeholders, you will raise awareness, promote community involvement, and address fuel poverty challenges.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. You should be passionate about environmental and social welfare objectives and have the ability to mentor and motivate others. Experience in managing energy efficiency projects and supporting volunteers is desirable.
