Tim Dean Tim Dean is a retired Anglican priest living in Guildford. For twelve years until 2002 he worked for the BBC World Service becoming a Commissioning Editor as part of the senior management team creating the policy, future strategy and commissioning of all English-language programming. He is also an award-winning radio producer. From 2003–12 Tim was Director of the World Media Trust working with media professionals outside the UK. Since leaving the BBC he has worked in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Norway, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Ukraine & USA. Tim is a member of First Step Forum engaged in private, independent diplomacy for religious freedom and human rights. He was the Editor of the journal Third Way in the 1980s, and has been on the governing bodies of a number of charities. In 1983 he co-founded the cancer charity Lymphoma Action.
