We currently have vacancies for enthusiastic, creative and outgoing individuals to join our vibrant Youth Service and help support young people in their personal and social development. 1 x Senior Youth Worker (5 hours per week) – fixed term until November 20191 x Youth Support Worker (5 hours per week) – fixed term until November 2019 To succeed in these roles, you’ll need to have a sense of adventure and willingness to try new things, linked with the ability to relate to, and engage with young people through a range of activities. Our Youth Service helps young people learn about themselves, others and society, through informal educational and a wide range of positive activities, which in most cases combine enjoyment, challenge and learning. It can be challenging work at times but very rewarding! It is an exciting time to join us as we look to expand and grow our service. We are a relatively small service but with big ideas and are ambitious for the young people of Newham.
