The Renewal Programme celebrates 50 years of #TransformingLives in Newham.
This year, we at the Renewal Programme are celebrating our 50th birthday. A lot has changed during this time, but one thing that has remained consistent is our commitment to supporting the most vulnerablemembers of the Newham community.
COVID-19 has hit Newham particularly hard, with the Renewal Programme facing unprecedented levels of demand. Whilst we are proud to have been there in our community’s greatest hour of need, in 2021 we are looking towards new horizons and hope to prepare our service users to thrive in a post-pandemic world.
In the spirit of our birthday, we have decided that there would be no greater gift than giving back to our community. Be it providing housing, food, education, advocacy and support to refugees and asylum seekerswe want to continue and expand what we do best. This is where you come in.
We aim to raise a total of £50,000 by April 2022.
We know this is ambitious but at the Renewal Programme we like to think big. Be it doing a sponsored run or donating the amount you spend on your commute, we would love you to get involved. You can find out more about fundraising for us here.
The donation thermometer below details how much we have raised through individual donations, appeals, corporate grants and events since April 2021. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our donors so far, however we still have a long way to go before we reach our target. Please donate below to help us raise £50,000 by April 2022 to support Newham’s most vulnerable residents.
