Following the new year, there have been a lot of changes to our Supported Housing Project. We started the year by saying goodbye to three of our staff from the Renewal Programme Housing Services. Delia, our Supported Housing Team Leader, and Guylaine and Ike, two of our long-term Housing Support Workers.
In reflecting on their times here, both Delia and Ike have served here for a great length of time and throughout lockdown when our residents needed it most. Whilst some of us had the safety of working from home Delia & Ike came in every day to deliver the best service they could. I truly believe that their dedication deserves to be commended. I hope you understand how many people’s lives you have touched and made better with a simple action of yours since being here, I am sure many of the residents will also truly miss you too.
“Thank you, Delia, for going above and beyond on more than many occasions”.
“Thank You, Ike for the many positive outcomes with our service users”.
Jubada, Housing Services Manager
Although we have had to say goodbye to three of our long-standing staff as they head off onto their next adventures, we have welcomed two new staff onto our Housing team!
Wishing a very warm welcome to our New Housing Support Staff, Noshein and Shefin!
Introducing our new well-being communal space for our residents
Our Supported Housing Team have finished refurbishing the communal spaces at both George Street and Barking Road! Freshly painted, redecorated and stylishly furnished there’s even a new TV to set the vibes. The hard work has really paid off, and made the supported housing more homely.
