Food Delivery Coordinator
£14.85 p/h | 8 hours per week | Newham
Location: Primarily Head Office, 395 High Street North, E12 6PG. May be required to go to other venues around the borough of Newham as directed.

About the role:
The Food Delivery Coordinator will lead the delivery of a pioneering zero‑carbon foodbank home‑delivery service, funded through the King Charles III Charitable Fund (Coronation Food Project). This service supports residents who are housebound due to age, disability or illness and cannot attend the food bank in person. Using trained volunteer cyclists and eco‑friendly cargo bikes, the project will distribute food within a 3‑mile radius, increasing food security while reducing carbon emissions.
The coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth weekly operations, volunteer support, partnership coordination, compliance, monitoring and successful delivery of project outcomes.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience coordinating community‑based projects or logistics‑focused services.

- Understanding of food insecurity, deprivation and barriers faced by housebound residents in Newham.
- Ability to maintain accurate monitoring and reporting systems.
- Strong safeguarding understanding, particularly for adults at risk.

Housing Team Leader
£35,000 – £38,000 | 36 hours | Newham

Do you want to combine hands-on support work with the opportunity to supervise staff, shape practice and strengthen outcomes for people experiencing homelessness?
The Renewal Programme is seeking a Housing Team Leader to play a key operational role within our supported housing services in Newham.
About the role:
As Housing Team Leader, you will provide hands-on operational leadership within the Renewal Programme’s Supported Housing services. Reporting to the Housing Service Manager, you will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of high-quality, strengths-based support for people experiencing homelessness, ensuring safe, consistent and resident-focused practice.
This role combines first-line management with direct practice responsibility. You will line-manage Housing Support Workers, oversee casework quality, safeguarding implementation and rent processes, and hold a small caseload of residents, including more complex or high-risk cases.
You will act as the first point of escalation for operational issues and deputise for the Housing Service Manager within agreed parameters. Your leadership will ensure that residents receive purposeful support, clear move-on pathways and consistent standards of service.

- Can balance compassion with professional boundaries
- Is organised, proactive and solutions-focused
