Training and Education
Unlocking education opportunities to empower Newham residents to thrive independently.
Our History
The Renewal Programme provides community based training and education for adults over the age of 19, who may find formal educational settings daunting. The Training and Education project has been running since 2005, providing courses that meet community needs.
Our classes are inclusive and collaborative, and continue to address the needs of the community, empowering students to thrive independently, whether that is navigating their daily lives, or achieving recognised qualifications to move on to employment or higher education.
Our Courses
This project is aimed at adults over the age of 19, who would prefer to study in a local community setting. Our aim is to encourage and enable people to achieve recognised qualifications, and to progress to higher education and/or employment. Our courses are free for everyone, and you do not need to live in Newham to apply.
