Food Bank
Providing essential support for Newham residents in need.
Our Food Bank is run by staff and volunteers, who are experienced in speaking to and providing support for service users based on their individual experiences. Service users are provided with emergency food relief parcels to suit their family, dietary requirements, and cultural or religious needs.

You may be eligible if you are a Newham resident struggling financially due to:
Benefit cap, homelessness, low income, domestic violence, debt, no recourse to public funding (NRPF).
When does it run?
Our food bank operates bi-weekly in the main hall at 395 High Street North, E12 6PG from 11am-1pm on Tuesday and Friday.

Community Hot Meals
Providing a warm haven and freshly prepared hot meals for the community.
Our hot meals service provides our community with free hot meals, particularly for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, as well as for those with no recourse to public funds. Our kitchen staff and volunteers serve hot food and drinks while providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere!

Our hot meals service is open to anyone. Just a simple walk-in, and our team will register you for the day!
Dietary requirements
We cater to many dietary requirements, including Halal, Vegetarian and Vegan.
When does it run?
Every Wednesday, from 12-1pm
Every Sunday, from 5.30-7.30pm
Location: Community Hub on the ground floor.

Food Club
Providing fresh foods for the Newham community and saving the planet!
Our Food Club provides fresh food, tinned and dry goods, toiletries, and everyday essentials for a very low price. We rely on donations from local businesses, churches and local residents, so items may vary week to week..

Community Cafe
We run our Community Cafe three times a week, and we would love for you to join us for a warm drink, small bite to eat and warm conversation.
We will be hosting workshops on living more sustainably and easy ways to reduce waste soon, so watch this space!

Dietery requirements
We are providing free hot and cold drinks, as well as small bites. To help reduce waste across the borough, we rely on food donations to run our cafes, so we try our best to have alternative milks and vegan/vegetarian options available, but this may not always be possible.
When does it run?
Monday from 1:30 – 3:30pm
Tuesday and Friday from 11am – 1pm at
395 High Street North, E12 6PG, in our Community Hub.
