Struggling with rising energy bills?
We provide practical and personal support to help you stay warm in Newham.
What is Stay Warm in Newham?
Stay Warm in Newham helps residents who are struggling with rising energy bills. The Renewal Programme and Groundworks Green Doctors work together to support the community.
We provide a Warm Space on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays alongside a free hot meal on Wednesdays.
Groundworks Green Doctors provide residents with advice, support and tips for tackling fuel poverty, as well as training for volunteers so they can support our community.
In addition, the Green Doctors will work with Newham Local Authority to help residents access council funded grant and support schemes.
What are our aims?
We aim to reach the most vulnerable communities and make them aware of the support available to them. We do this by prioritising multilingual communication and doing outreach in community centres, such as libraries and faith centres, ensuring we can support hard-to-reach communities.
Our partnership with Groundworks Green Doctors ensures that we can fulfill these aims.

Testimonials
“I was terrified to receive my next energy bill, but the advice that I received at the
Renewal Programme has changed my outlook and I feel better able to manage. It
was helpful to speak to someone who speaks the same language as me and
understood how I felt. I have been referred to another programme to receive
some additional financial support.”
