Donate now to support the most vulnerable members of the Newham community
At the Renewal Programme, we are dedicated to supporting Newham. Our services are vital to many members of our community who are facing challenges.
The cost of living crisis means many in our community are financially struggling. Half of the children in Newham live in households in poverty.
By donating to our appeal today, you are standing alongside those who are struggling, inspiring hope and offering opportunities for connection, growth and progress.
Our services
Food Bank
Our staff and volunteers run a bi-weekly Food Bank for Newham residents who need it most.
Supported Housing
Our Supported Housing project is developed in conjunction with the London Borough of Newham and One-Housing Group to provide accommodation and support for un-housed people over the age of 18.
Training and Education
The Renewal Programme provides community based training and education for adults over the age of 19.
Our classes are inclusive and collaborative, and continue to address the needs of the community, empowering students to thrive independently.
Young carers & Youth
Our work helps to prepare young people for life in today’s world, diverts them from crime and anti-social behaviour and is great fun!
Newham Carers Community is a newly commissioned service which is delivered in partnership with Age UK East London as lead and Subco Trust, to provide support to Carer’s and young carers across the borough of Newham.
Volunteering
Volunteers kindly give their time, passion, and enthusiasm to help us achieve our main objective: to transform and empower the lives of those living within Newham.
Every day, the enormous range of skills, experience and expertise they bring makes us stronger as an organisation. This enables us to reach more people, establish wider networks, and champion Newham residents.
Stay Warm in Newham
Our Stay Warm in Newham project works with the Cadent Foundation and Groundworks Green Doctors, aiming to help Newham residents with rising energy bills by providing free warm spaces, hot meals and energy advice.
Immigration services and support & RAMP
Our project exists to support refugees, migrants and asylum seekers, living in Newham, who are seeking refuge from disadvantaged conditions.
Newham United Against Food Waste
Our project, funded by The Naturesave Trust and Scottish Power Foundation, is split into two. We collect surplus food from local businesses using eco-friendly cargo bikes, which is then used in our community pantry, which provides essential food and non-food items at a discounted price.
Community Hub & Manor Park Oasis
Our Community Hub runs free activities for the community across the week.
Our Manor Park Oasis is an outdoor space next-door to our main building, to host community events. Manor Park Oasis wouldn’t be possible without People Powered Places, a government fund given out to places and projects voted for by Newham residents.
