This June, The Renewal Programme is proud to recognise and celebrate Pride Month, a time to honour the LGBTQ+ community, celebrate diversity, and reflect on the importance of creating a society where everyone feels valued, respected and able to be themselves.
At the Renewal Programme, one of our core values is Inclusion. We believe that strong communities are built when people from all backgrounds, identities and experiences feel a genuine sense of belonging. Pride Month provides an opportunity to celebrate the diversity that strengthens our communities and to reaffirm our commitment to creating welcoming spaces where everyone can thrive.
Pride is both a celebration and a reminder. It celebrates the achievements, contributions and resilience of LGBTQ+ people, while also recognising the ongoing work needed to ensure equality, dignity and opportunity for all. As an organisation serving one of the UK’s most diverse boroughs, we are proud to stand alongside LGBTQ+ communities in Newham and beyond.
Through our work supporting local people, building community connections and creating opportunities for individuals and families to flourish, we remain committed to fostering environments where everyone feels safe, respected and empowered.
