Congratulations to our talented young people and our talented youth leaders who took a great haul of awards at the Newham Youth Achievement Awards on Friday 9th November 2018. Youth club members Tommy McKenzie, Kayleigh Bash and Daniel Jacob were on hand to help youth leader Nicola Lane collect the Youth Project of the Year Award for The Renewal Programme.
Congratulations also to Tomiwa Akintunde and Jessica Leedham who received individual awards, and Darius-Delali Baird who received the Youth Leader of the Year Award.
The whole event was dreamed up and created by a group of young people drawn from youth clubs across the borough. We are really proud of you all, and it is fantastic to hear such positive stories about young people and their achievements.
