On 10 April, the Renewal Programme was pleased to host a special Family Fun Day at its outdoor community space, Manor Park Oasis, bringing together families, friends, and members of the local community for a day of shared enjoyment and connection.
The event welcomed attendees of all ages, with a wide range of activities available throughout the day. Children and young people enjoyed face painting, henna art, a bouncy castle, arts and crafts, table tennis, and archery, while parents and carers had the opportunity to relax, socialise, and take part in activities alongside their children. The day created a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment for everyone involved.
A key highlight of the event was the strong sense of community on display, as attendees came together to connect, share experiences, and create lasting memories. The day reflected the Renewal Programme’s ongoing commitment to fostering community cohesion and providing positive, accessible opportunities for local families.
The Renewal Programme extends its sincere thanks to the East End Community Foundation for their generous funding, which made the event possible. Appreciation is also due to the dedicated volunteers and organisers whose time and efforts ensured the smooth running and success of the day.
Following the positive feedback received, the Renewal Programme looks forward to hosting future Family Fun Days and continuing to build on the success of this event.
