The Renewal Programme has been recognised with an award for its long-standing contribution to social justice at a special event marking 50 years of Law at the Royal Docks School of Business and Law, University of East London (UEL).
The celebration, held in November 2025, brought together alumni, partners and colleagues to reflect on the strength and impact of UEL’s law community over the past half-century. It highlighted not only academic achievement, but also the vital role of organisations working to advance fairness and justice in their communities.
We were proud to be represented by Sylwia Wawrzynczak Szymczyk, our Asylum and Immigration Services Manager, who attended on behalf of the Renewal Programme. During the event, Sylwia accepted the award recognising the Renewal Programme’s long-standing contribution to social justice.
This award is a testament to the dedication and impact of our Asylum and Immigration team, as well as the wider Renewal Programme community. Every day, our teams work to support individuals and families, advocate for fair outcomes, and create lasting positive change.
We extend our sincere thanks to Sylwia for her leadership and commitment, and to all our colleagues whose teamwork and passion make achievements like this possible.
We are also grateful to the University of East London for this recognition and for continuing to champion social justice through its work and partnerships.
