The Renewal Programme provides advice and support to the most vulnerable residents of Newham through person-centred and holistic practical assistance, advocacy, and community action projects.
Our aim is to transform and empower those within the borough by forming community cohesion and providing a support base for residents living in one of London’s boroughs affected most by poverty and inequality.
How we deliver advice and support:
We deliver this through dispersal of information, advice and advocacy work, practical assistance and local community schemes. At present, we offer the following:
- Refugee and Migrant Support
- Food Bank
- Community Hub (Digital Hub, Community Cafe and Activities)
- Immigration Advice and Advocacy
- Welfare Grants
Immigration Services and Support
We can now support individuals with their immigration documentation and/or status; we are an OISC registered organisation specialising in Asylum, Immigration and Nationality Law.
Refugee and Migrant Project
Our Refugee and Migrant Project exists to support refugees, migrants and asylum seekers, living in Newham, in a variety of ways.
Food Bank
Our bi-weekly food bank is open on Tuesday's & Friday's 11am - 1pm. This service is open to Newham residents who meet certain criteria.
Community Hub
Our Community Hub provides a safe community space for Newham residents to drop in and seek help, as well as access a range of activities.
